WWW.OUT.COMNeNe Leakes dragged for 'transphobic' remarks in Ts Madison interviewThe Real Housewives of Atlanta alum and overall Bravolebrity NeNe Leakes recently dropped a new episode of her online talk show in which she interviewed Ts Madison. However, as the two women approached the topic of dating and discussed Madison's trans identity Leakes got into some hot water for revealing she wouldn't date men who date trans women.Leakes's reasoning? She doesn't consider those men to be straight.Sign up for the Out Newsletter to keep up with what's new in LGBTQ+ culture and entertainment delivered three times a week straight (well) to your inbox!During one point of the interview, Madison explained to Leakes that she doesn't date gay men."You know, when you guys be saying that, that's weird," Leakes responded. "Because what do you mean you don't date gay men? Because if he sleeping with you, and sleeping with a woman, he something."Madison argued that this hypothetical man wouldn't automatically be gay for being attracted to women who are trans. However, Leakes insisted that he would have to be bisexual. "If a man comes in here and he looks at me and you Well, he likes women," Madison told the Real Housewives star. Leakes continued to reiterate opinions that many fans are calling "transphobic." For instance, the RHOA star argued that men wouldn't know that Madison is trans. "And if he does know, he likes women," Madison replied. "He could be bi, or he could be pan[sexual]. A lot of men are paying, but they don't say anything."In response, Leakes said that she wouldn't be with a man who's been with a trans woman. "I don't want to run into them. I don't want to date them," Leakes went on to say. "The man gonna be sleeping with me and you? I don't want to talk to him no more. Why the hell you going to sleep with me then going to sleep with you? I don't want him. I'm over it."Madison continued to approach the conversation with a level head and said, "Nene, if you've dated men, there's a possibility that he's been with a man."The conversation was posted to social media and Leakes was heavily criticized for the way she handled the conversation, as well as her stance. "NeNe being this ignorant about queer topics while constantly existing in queer spaces is gross," one person wrote in an X post. "Pick up a mf book."Madison posted the clip on her Instagram, thanked Leakes for having a "difficult conversation" with her, and laid out some "hard facts." See on Instagram The RuPaul's Drag Race judge wrote, "If you are a female that's dated multiple men in your life, it's a possibility that one of those men have experienced something you may deem 'gay.'" Madison subsequently wrote six other bullet points relevant to this conversation. As a result, Madison received a lot of support in her comments section."Thank you for bringing this to the light. For me, personally, I will be so happy when men's desires and male validation are not centered around happiness," DJ Honey Dijon wrote in a comment. "We as women have so much more to offer and we are the ones keeping this planet together. All expressions of womanhood."Bronwyn Newport from Real Housewives of Salt Lake City left a comment saying, "I so appreciate you calmly continuing this conversation. You put out needed, valuable and often misunderstood information."0 Comments 0 Shares 8 Views 0 Reviews

WWW.OUT.COM'Another Simple Favor' star Alex Newell's fashion tip for Pride? 'Wear deodorant'Alex Newell has never played small. From electrifying Broadway audiences in Once on This Island and Shucked to breaking barriers as the first nonbinary actor to win a Tony Award for a featured role in a musical, Newell has consistently brought powerful vocals, bold presence, and undeniable charisma to every stage they've stepped on.First introduced to general audiences on Glee, Newell has since become a symbol of fearlessness in entertainment someone who with an active role in reshaping the industry.Newell has also brought that same energy to Another Simple Favor, a highly anticipated sequel to the stylish, twist-filled 2018 film A Simple Favor. In this sequel, Newell plays a character named Vicky Stephanie's fashion-forward booking agent and assistant whose sharp wit and bold fashion sense allow them to stand out in the cast. In a conversation with Out, the Tony Award winner discusses which medium they feel "most at home" in, shares a fashion tip for Pride Month for the queer community, and recalls their experience attending the 2025 Met Gala earlier this year.See on InstagramOut: You've had a diverse career: From television to the stage to voiceover work. Is there one medium where you feel most 'at home' creatively?Alex Newell: They all provide something uniquely fulfilling. I love what I do on stage. I've always loved being on Broadway; there's nothing like a live performance. I also really enjoy television. That was my first medium, professionally, so I love it. And voice over, too. I'd said the same thing about making music and being a recording artist Here's something intimate that you get with just you and a microphone. That's always fun. Vicky is fashion forward in Another Simple Favor. Do you have any fashion tips for the LGBTQ+ community to celebrate Pride Month?I will always say that my fashion advice for everyone, at any walk of life, is to wear deodorant, and wear something that smells good.If you could ask anyone in the world for 'a simple favor' Who would it be, and what would you ask?If I could ask anybody in the world, I'd ask Beyonc Giselle Knowles-Carter for a birthday song. Or I'd ask Rihanna for an album.See on InstagramVicky works as a booking agent for Stephanie. If Alex could write a book, what story would you want to get out? It's gonna be my tell-all. I can't tell you though, you need to buy the book. There's no precursor. It's just going to drop, and we're all going to be reading it.Your next big moment is Lulu Is a Rhinoceros, where you play Cory. What's the vibe for the character? It's all about acceptance. It's showing them that you can be different. It's showing them that no matter what, you will always find someone that accepts you for who you truly are and what you really want to be. A lot of childhood is: 'You have to do this, you have to do that.' Rather than you can do this, you can aspire to do that, or you can have this identity that is not congruent to who you thought you were going to be.I think if you show that in the media, it gives the parent a lot of time to rectify their feelings about a lot of things, but also gives inspiration to the kid to go that path and tread that light. Cory is a good Judy and good kiki. See on InstagramYou ate with that beautiful Christian Siriano dress at the Met Gala. Who was your dandyism inspiration? My dandy inspiration was always Andr Leon Talley, who I've always thought as the 21st century's original dandy giving us all the drapery, the drama, the dramatics. Is there anyone, besides yourself, who you felt really killed it on the Met Gala?Diana Ross and Jodie Turner-Smith. She cleared the way, babes. delicioso. You have one of the best voices of our time. If you could use your voice to share a message with the queer community right now, what message would you belt out?My message is to always lead with love and acceptance in the heart. You never know when someone is struggling or what they're going through. So always lead with that love and that kindness.0 Comments 0 Shares 6 Views 0 Reviews

WWW.LGBTQANDALL.COMMassage Therapy and Mental HealthIn recent years, the conversation around mental health has shiftedrightfully expanding beyond talk therapy and medication to include a more holistic view of well-being. One powerful, often underestimated tool in this broader mental health toolkit is massage therapy.More than a feel-good indulgence, massage has deep therapeutic value. It supports emotional regulation, calms the nervous system, and fosters a mind-body connection thats crucial for long-term mental resilience. The Science Behind Massage and Mental HealthResearch continues to highlight the link between physical touch and emotional well-being. Therapeutic massage helps reduce cortisol levels (the bodys primary stress hormone) while boosting serotonin and dopamine, which are both associated with feelings of happiness, calm, and focus. For individuals living with anxiety, depression, PTSD, or chronic stress, these neurochemical changes can make a meaningful difference. Even a single session can lead to improved mood and a greater sense of presence. Over time, regular massage becomes a safe, grounding ritualhelping to regulate the nervous system and support other mental health strategies. If youre navigating mental health challenges and are seeking complementary support, massage therapy in Montreal is becoming an increasingly popular and accessible option. Many professionals in the city now specialize in trauma-informed approaches and stress-sensitive care, making massage a viable ally in your mental wellness journey. The Mind-Body Connection, RevisitedOne of the most profound ways massage supports mental health is by restoring a sense of connection to the body. For those experiencing dissociation, body image struggles, or emotional numbness, reconnecting through touch can be incredibly healing.Massage also encourages mindfulness. The experience of tuning into your breath, sensing the rhythm of muscle release, and becoming aware of physical sensationsthese are all acts of presence that can carry over into daily life. For residents in the citys southwest borough, finding a massage therapist in Verdun can be a step toward making self-care a consistent, neighborhood-friendly practice. Local therapists often work closely with other wellness professionals, offering integrated care that supports both mental and physical health.Final ThoughtsMental health support doesnt come in a one-size-fits-all package. For some, it looks like talk therapy or medication. For others, it may involve body-based practices that restore calm and agency. Massage therapy fits beautifully into a comprehensive wellness plan, helping individuals not just to copebut to feel connected, resilient, and at home in their own bodies.Whether youre in recovery, managing daily stress, or simply looking to create space for emotional rest, massage may offer the grounding and relief youve been looking for.The post Massage Therapy and Mental Health appeared first on LGBTQ and ALL.0 Comments 0 Shares 6 Views 0 Reviews

Massage therapy fits beautifully into a comprehensive wellness plan, helping individuals not just to copebut to feel connected, resilient, and at home in their own bodies.Whether youre in recovery, managing daily stress, or simply looking to create space for emotional rest, massage may offer the grounding and relief youve been looking for.The post Massage Therapy and Mental Health appeared first on LGBTQ and ALL.0 Comments 0 Shares 21 Views 0 Reviews

WWW.OUT.COMQueer TikTok rallies around anti-ICE L.A. protests with support and resourcesLos Angeles is entering its fourth night of protesting the growing number of aggressive U.S. Immigration and Customs Enforcement raids, which Mayor Karen Bass has denounced as an "experiment" from the Trump administration to incite fear. President Trump's deployment of the National Guard and U.S. Marines in response to the protests has also been criticized by Governor Gavin Newsom as unnecessary, potentially unlawful, and an attempt by Trump to further sow "chaos." Illustrating this unnecessary escalation, videos and images shared on social media show law enforcement using tear gas and rubber bullets on peaceful protestors. And as the demonstrations continue, queer social media content creators are using their platforms to raise awareness about the events unfolding in L.A., share resources for supporting the protesters, and express their opinions on the current situation. Here is a list of creators using their platforms to speak up about the L.A. protests.Vanilla Mace (@vanillamace) @vanillamace Grwm while I share important information! Vanilla Mace, a former exotic dancer turned TikTok creator, did a get-ready-with-me video, where she shared locations ICE agents were spotted. She also shared tips regarding some of the situations protestors may encounter on the streets, like using water to rinse out your eyes after getting tear-gassed. Mace ended the video saying, "Remember if you are out and about today, remember to stay vigilant and stay safe, and remember that nobody is fucking illegal on stolen land."Marc Sebastian (@Marcsebastianf) @marcsebastianf forever and always Marc Sebastian, who gained popularity after attending a portion of the nine-month Royal Caribbean cruise last year, uploaded a video with a hard-to-miss message to ICE. He starts the video by sharing that he hasn't had a chance to show his new followers his rock collection and switches his camera to display a rock formation that spells out "FUCK ICE" as he talks about his affection for these specific stones.Tefi Pessoa (@hellotefi) See on Instagram Tefi Pessoa has utilized her platform to address various human rights issues in the past, and the L.A. protests are no different. She uploaded a text post to her TikTok with a Spanish protest song called "Latinoamrica" by the Puerto Rican hip hop group Calle 13. "If you can watch the ICE raids and feel that's justified or normal, please unfollow me," the post reads. "We are watching people hunt human beings. ICE is inhumane. This 'crime force' criminalizes migration, tears families apart, and often detains people in dangerous, overcrowded facilities without due process."The influencer goes on to write that the organization targets vulnerable communities rather than offering safety or justice and goes on to say that the only reason she hasn't made a video is because she can't do so without crying. "When someone cries on camera, it immediately becomes about them and not the issue. Sometimes the message gets lost in the messaging and my message is: FUCK ICE."Kay Poyer (@ladymisskay_) @ladymisskay_ Know your rights, cover your face, go with friends, dont bring your phone off Kay Poyer is known for her masterful reads about a person, place, or idea, and she has never shied away from sharing her opinion. As the L.A. protests continued, Poyer shared information about the No Kings Nationwide Day of Defiance, which is a collective group of demonstrations taking place on June 14 across the country.Tana Mongeau (@tanamongeau) @tanamongeaulol when i say match my donation im speaking to other influencers or anyone who can!!! i put the link in my bio and on my story. love u Tana Mongeau has a checkered past on the internet, but she is working her way back into public favor with her Canceled podcast that she cohosts with Brooke Schofield. "I'm able to make money and donate it to people who need it a whole lot more than I do," she said in the video and encouraged other influencers to match her donations that she has linked in her Instagram and TikTok bios.Michael Foote (@michael_foote_) @michael_foote_ Michael Foote is a lawyer on TikTok who uploaded a helpful video sharing information about what to do if someone is taken into custody by ICE.
