Just a day after President Donald Trumps inauguration, the Constitution and all LGBTQ+ related terms have been removed from the White House website.On Tuesday, social media users pointed out that the Constitution page on the White Houses official website had been removed, leaving behind a 404 Page Not Found message.The about page for the executive branch of the U.S. government has also been removed with the same message found in its place, as have all of the pages that were found on the website prior to January 20, 2025, when Trump took office. (@) According to GLAAD, all mentions of lesbian, bisexual, gay, transgender, sexual orientation, gender identity, and related terms were wiped from the website as well as all HIV-focused resources, which have also been scrubbed from key federal agency webpages.President Trump claims to be a strong proponent of freedom of speech, yet he is clearly committed to censorship of any information containing or related to LGBTQ Americans and issues that we face, GLAAD President and CEO Sarah Kate Ellis said in a statement. This action proves the Trump administrations goal of making it as difficult as possible for LGBTQ Americans to find federal resources or otherwise see ourselves reflected under his presidency. Sadly for him, our community is more visible than ever; and this pathetic attempt to diminish and remove us will again prove unsuccessful.The entirety of the Spanish language version of WhiteHouse.gov has also been removed.As of yesterday, these pages were still available on the White House website.In their place is a photo of Donald Trump on the front page of the website with the message, America is back. There is also an administration page listing Trump, First Lady Melania Trump, Vice President JD Vance, and Second Lady Usha Vance.There is also an Issues page that lists Trumps priorities for his time in office, including Making America safe again, Make America affordable and energy dominant again, and "Drain the swamp.This is a developing story.
