The premiere week of Wicked: For Good has been officially kicked off with the surprise drop of a full new scene from the sequel. In it, Elphaba (Cynthia Erivo) visits the Wizard (Jeff Goldblum) and attempts to convince him to tell the truth to the people of Oz. Halfway through, Glinda (Ariana Grande) interrupts that conversation to agree with the Wizard that Elphaba could work with them, together.Elphaba refuses the offer and insists that the people of Oz need to know the truth. But the Wizard just laughs it off and in Elphaba's face. "They're not going to believe it," the Wizard says. "I could tell them that I've been lying to them till I'm forgive me, blue in the face but wouldn't make any difference. They're never going to stop believing in me. You know why?
