The author, Joseph Sciambra, wrote that because Musk was an absent father, Wilson ended up gay, which in turn caused her gender dysphoria. Ive seen it hundreds of times, Sciambra wrote, some people would rather believe that their son was born gay, or even born in the wrong body, rather than admit to themselves that they were neglectful or abusive parents.He then went on a tangent to disprove a claim from Musk that Wilson was born gay and explained that straight boys can be gentle and like musical theater. Sciambra is an ex-gay man who has devoted his life to helping Christian men overcome all same-sex attractions and any persistent attachments to the homosexual or the gay orientation,' according to his website. He said in the Post article that he had a friend from his days as a gay man in 1990s San Francisco who used to dress up as Madonna and dance around his house to get his fathers attention, implying that this desperation for fatherly affection is what made him both rather flamboyant and gay.
