Grindr took over Iron23 in the Chelsea neighborhood of Manhattan for their second annual Pleasure Ball Halloween party. This year's theme was "The Garden of Otherworldly Delights." (Think sexy swamp creatures, mischievous mushrooms, and slutty animals.) And there was no shortage of chiseled abs in skimpy costumes and spooky, slutty vibes. The gathering attracted notable guests like musicians Ashnikko and Slayyyter, the latter of whom performed her electrifying new single, "Crank." Also in attendance: RuPaul's Drag Race alums Dawn, Luxx Noir London, and Aquaria, Grindr CEO George Arison, and the Scissor Sister's Jake Shears.Tristan Pineiro, senior vice president of brand marketing and communications at Grindr, spoke about the LGBTQ+ community's relationship with Halloween in the official press release for the event. "Halloweens never just been about one night for our community its part of who we are," he said. "Weve always identified with the camp, the drama, and the outsider energy it brings. Its a chance to transform, play, and show off a little or a lot. The Pleasure Ball brings all that energy into one room: a celebration of beauty, confidence and collective release.
