Between hosting the first-ever drag king reality competition series Revrys King of Drag and acting on shows like Somebody Somewhere and Elsbeth, Murray Hill has been on a roll in recent years. Now, Mr. Showbiz has also been honored in the Out100, Out's annual list of LGBTQ+ changemakers.In his Out100 profile, Hill discussed the importance of encouraging the LGBTQ+ community to be more inclusive in its fight for queer and trans rights, noting: After decades in this game, I still see drag kings, butches, masc folks, lesbians, and trans men treated as an afterthought.I love the spirit of trans is beautiful and protect the dolls, but I hope our language expands to include everyone. Protect the Ken dolls too, Hill suggested.The LGBTQ+ icon also described his job as making sure everybodys got a seat at the showbiz table, even if I have to pull up a folding chair myself.
