From lovers to twins? Joe Locke and Ruaridh Mollica tease possible MCU collab
Heartstopper breakout Joe Locke is getting cheeky with his Clarkston costar Ruaridh Mollica, following news that Mollica will join the Marvel Cinematic Universe as Tommy Maximoff.In Clarkston, which is currently showing on the West End, Locke and Mollica play a pair of boys in a small American town who fall in love. The play is garnering rave reviews, with many praising the romantic chemistry between its two leads. But now, the two actors may be tasked with portraying a different kind of dynamic: twin brothers.It was announced in February that Mollica would be joining the cast of the upcoming MCU show VisionQuest, which picks up shortly after the ending of WandaVision. The series is set to star Paul Bettany as Vision and James Spader as a human version of the villain Ultron, as well as human versions of AI programs Jarvis, Friday, and Edith. Initially, Mollica was supposed to play a character named Tucker, but it turns out that he'll actually be playing a grown-up version of Vision and Wanda's son Tommy.See on InstagramMarvel released its first trailer for the series at the recent New York Comic Con, revealing that Mollica would be playing an older version of Tommy, also known as the superhero Speed. In 2014, Olsen and actor Aaron Taylor-Johnson starred as husband and wife in the film Godzilla, and were then cast as a pair of siblings the Scarlet Witch and Quicksilver in 2015's Avengers: Age of Ultron.VisionQuest will release on Disney+ in 2026.
