Megan Thee Stallion 'honored' to be Trevor Project's Mental Health Champion
Megan Thee Stallion is adding yet another award to her ever-growing trophy shelf; this time, it's for her advocacy work. The bisexual Grammy-winning rapper was announced as this year's recipient of the Trevor Project's Mental Health Champion Award. According to the official press release, the award "recognizes influential public figures who use their platform to advocate for mental health awareness and issues impacting LGBTQ+ young people." She's the founder of the Pete & Thomas Foundation, a nonprofit organization that was named in honor of her late parents and focuses on empowering women, children, senior citizens, and underserved communities with initiatives in Houston and worldwide centered on education, housing, health, and wellness.
