Ollie King surprised 'I Kissed a Boy' fans over the weekend.It's only been a few days since reality TV fans were surprised by a head-scratching new video from Ollie King who won season 1 of I Kissed a Boy and was a fan-favorite alum within the queer dating series ranting about nonbinary people, supporting protests tied to far-right activist Tommy Robinson, and accusing his I Kissed a Boy ex Dan Harry of mistreating others after their time on the BBC dating show.To recap: King discussed in his previous video that "maybe we should tell people, Dan, and expose you, as to why I left you, last September, two years ago." He went on, "Maybe we should tell them, cos you're the most rude, arrogantest[sic] turd I've ever met. That's why. When you barge into our women on cruise ships, [Harry allegedly saying,] 'They shouldn't be in my way.' Because you think you're from London, you can barge into people."Unexpectedly, a woman who identified herself as a friend of the couple and who indeed has several years of pictures, videos, and back-and-forth comments on her Instagram grid that Out could verify went on TikTok (@taylora_dc) to refute King's claims as someone who literally met the I Kissed a Boy exes on that exact cruise ship referenced by King, and went on to stay friends with Harry after their breakup."Hello, I am here to talk about the I Kissed a Boy drama between Ollie King and Dan Harry that's been going around the last couple of days," Taylor A. said in her TikTok video. "You might be thinking, 'What does this American girl have to add to the story?' Well, if you've been following the drama, you'll have seen that Ollie King posted a 20- to 30-minute video talking about his support for the protests going on in London. And, in addition to that, attacked a whole variety of communities like nonbinary folks and his ex, Dan Harry.""Funny enough, I met them both on said cruise," Taylor A. revealed.See on InstagramTaylor A. explained that she "had never heard of the show [I Kissed a Boy] before" meeting them on this cruise ship."I had no idea who these people were," she added. "Like, I'm just an American who was on vacation with my friend, and met them both the first night on the cruise in the cruise club, and proceeded to have a friendship that developed between myself, my friend, the two of them," and other people they all met during the trip.Overall, Taylor A. recalled spending a lot of time with King and Harry given that this "was not a massive cruise," noting: "It was a Virgin Voyages cruise; adult-only, with a whole week. So I spent a lot of time with them both on the cruise, off the cruise, on the ports. And I watched their interactions with everybody else, on the ship and off the ship.""People had recognized them on the ship. A couple of people had requested photos," Taylor A. went on. "I watched them always respond with kindness. Dan, in particular, to all of the people who came up to them women and men alike. Myself included, when I just randomly tried to make friends and approached them, having no idea like what kind of celebrities, influencers, or whoever they were."Over the years, Taylor A. discussed staying in touch with them, "particularly with Dan," she added. "And I've found him at that moment [upon meeting], and over the course of my time having spent time with him, to be nothing but kind, and courteous, and generous to everyone who asks him for photos, to everyone who approaches him Women included."To that point, she explained why she "just thought it was fascinating that Ollie felt the need to call out that cruise in particular," adding: "I actually commented on his video and said, 'Hey, like I was a woman who met you both on that cruise, and I didn't find Dan's behavior to be further from the truth.' And he, within minutes, blocked me from his TikTok and deleted my comment."Taylor A. continued, "I just think it was fascinating that he went and created this entire narrative And when someone who was an actual witness to one of the events he mentioned countered or contradicted his story, that he erased any mention of it."While acknowledging that there were "certainly other women on this cruise," Taylor A. argued that she was "the woman that was around for nearly that entire cruise with the two of them, and just thought I would come here and share my experience.
