Hello Out readers!Did you watch the Emmys this weekend? The 2025 Emmys took place last night in Los Angeles, and several of our favorite LGBTQ+ stars joined the ranks of Emmy winners!Severance star Tramell Tillman won the award for Outstanding Supporting Actor in a Drama Series, becoming the first Black man to ever win the award.In his speech, he thanked his mother, whom he brought as a date. "Mama, you were there for me when no one was and no one else would show up. Your loving kindness stays with me, and this is for you," he said.Other queer winners included Alan Cumming for The Traitors, Jeff Hiller for Somebody, Somewhere, and Erin Doherty for Adolescence.Hacks star Hannah Einbinder also picked up her first Emmy win for playing Ava Daniels on the show, and used her time on stage to get political. After Einbinder's costar Meg Stalter made a statement on the red carpet with her Cease Fire purse, Einbinder wore a red pin calling for the same thing. On stage, she finished her acceptance speech by saying, "Go Birds, fuck ICE, and free Palestine!"Einbinder also announced that Hacks will be ending with its fifth season."We're going to start [filming] next week, and knowing it's the last season is really bittersweet," she said. "But I think it's right. It's nice to do something as many times as it should be done," Einbinder said. "Not overstay your welcome.
