Young Thug shared his thoughts on the gay community during an appearance on recent episode of a podcast called Perspektives with Bank. The Atlanta rapper found a way to tie his feelings about Gunna, a rapper signed to his YSL Records label, who took a plea deal in the high-profile racketeering case against Thug's label. Because of this, Gunna has been labeled a "rat" by other rappers and Thug felt betrayed by the rapper's decision to take the deal. (@) During Thug's most recent podcast appearance, he likened Gunna's actions to being gay. "I feel like once you break a rule from your manhood, once you rat or once you turn gay," the rapper said as he repeatedly stated that he doesn't have an issue with gay people and that he has queer employees. "If I look at you, if I meet you and you gay, its like, Okay. If I meet you and you portraying that you a man and youre not gay I dont got nothing against gay people. You know what Im saying? If youre portraying a certain thingThug then goes on to continue saying, "I cant look at you the same," and attempts to explain his thought process by saying that he takes issue with deception. I hate that I even brought it up, because I dont even want the LGTB, I dont even want that community to even think Im against them. Im overly with yall for it," he said. The rapper tries to triple down on his explanation and said that if he were having a threesome with a guy and he came out as gay, he would be upset. "If I look at you like a man and we fucking bitches together, girls together, and we doing certain shit together, Im looking at you in a man light, he continued. "Then I find out you gay, it aint really nothing you can say to me. Imma just look at you like you broke a man code.This is not the first time the rapper has made controversial comments about the queer community. Back in 2020, he deliberately misgendered Dwayne Wade's daughter, Zaya, in a since-deleted tweet and said, "All I wanna say to Dwaynes son is: God dont make mistakes,'" adding, "But, hey, live your true self.
