'Dating Naked UK' season 2: Rylan Clark reveals what to expect
Dating Naked UK is returning for a second season on August 29 the show's host, Rylan Clark, spoke with Attitude about some of the most outrageous moments from this new season. Clark, an out singer who was a breakout star on The X Factor UK, has appeared as a contestant on multiple British reality shows before being announced as the host of Dating Naked UK in 2023. Now in its second season, fans are expecting some wild shenanigans to unfold, and Clark wasn't afraid to get into the craziest moments, while also discussing how this show is helping people discover a new type of relationship with their body, even himself. At the start of the interview, the British publication notes that Clark is clothed and begins by asking him where the new season is taking place. He reveals that the contestants filmed at a house in Playa Bonita, Panama, and that, according to him, two gay men own it. When asked about the most awkward moment of this upcoming season, Clark pointed to a moment where the contestants had a date to go zip-lining together. "Zip wire naked and we did throw someone in new on the zip wire and it was just a ball bag coming towards everyone, which was quite the shock, which I got to relive yesterday when I was doing the voiceover," he said. "Its just very graphic."As for the dream guests he'd hope to come on the show, his first answer was the talk show host Alan Carr, but he goes on to name British heartthrob Russell Tovey and Ruth Langsford. The interviewer also asked Clark whether he felt there should be a gay version of Dating Naked UK, and he didn't think that was the best idea. "Not on purpose," he said. "Weve got things like I Kissed a Boy, I Kissed a Girl, which is great, but I would love a version where just everyones whatever they want to be." Clark goes on to hypothesize a new season of the show, "So youve got six guys, six girls and whatever new people coming in, and maybe everyone could potentially be with anyone. I think thats an idea for a season. I would like to see that at some point."Clark also shared that the show has helped him look at dating in a different light. "I think the show has changed my sort of dating life," he explained. "Its just made me realize that theres got to be that attraction, but the amount of good-looking men Ive met that are absolute pricks, its rife." Adding, "Obviously, you want to be attracted physically to someone, but if Im gonna die with this person, I want to laugh up until that moment."There was a lot more that the host discussed in the interview, but the most revealing part of the interview was when he teased what was to come, saying, "Im creative consultant this series so Ive had quite a bit of input in what happens. And if you think you know what happens in season one, and if the daters going into season two, thought they knew what was going to happen, they really didnt."
