Model and internet It Girl Julia Fox is opening up about her sexuality more than ever before.Fox, gracing the cover of Allure Next's latest issue, says that she identifies as pansexual but still isn't interested in dating men."I don't have to entertain men anymore," Fox says in the interview, adding that she doesn't miss being with men "at all.""The way my life is, I can't see why a man would be beneficial. I'm laser-focused on being a good mom, on being a good provider, on making my dreams come true," Fox says. "There's just so much more you can do with your time than waiting around to see if a guy's going to text you back or not." "If it were just down to physical, I'm more attracted to the female body. Men don't do it for me at all [physically], but I can be attracted to a man's mind. I'm a vibes person." However, she doesn't mention how trans and nonbinary bodies fit into that.Fox also said she's "definitely had crushes and did some stuff, but it's never gotten to full relationship status" with a woman. She remembers having several "psycho codependent besties" with whom her friendships were more than platonic."Looking back, I'm like, 'Oh my God, we were in a relationship.' But there was no way I was going to admit that to myself, and I couldn't, because so much of my survival was hinged upon men taking care of me.In 2024, Fox shared a TikTok where a comedian joked, "I love when I see a lesbian with their boyfriend. It's like, 'Aww, you hate that man. You literally hate him.'"Fox replied by stitching that video with a new one of herself, saying: "Hey, that was me. I was that lesbian. So sorry, boys. Won't happen again."A profile on her later that year in The Times said she "thinks she's a lesbian." "I'd definitely be up for a relationship with a woman. You cannot equate that to a relationship with a man," she said. "With a woman, you're with your bestie, whereas ultimately, men are always going to prioritize other men over you.
