Get ready for a return to Palm Beach!The second season of Apple TV+'s Emmy-nominated series Palm Royale is officially coming this fall!Apple TV+ has announced the new season premiere date along with other details about the show's second season.Season two follows Maxine (Kristen Wiig) as she "is left a social pariah after a scandalous public breakdown. She'll have to draw on her deep well of cleverness and cunning to prove once and for all that not only does she belong, but she just might have what it takes to rule this town. Along the way, she will uncover untold truths and finally understand what this town is truly built on... secrets, lies, and the occasional felony."Showrunner and creator Abe Sylvia spoke to Glamour about what fans can expect from the upcoming season."It's bigger; it's a wild ride. Maxine is going through a personal revolution that I think aligns perfectly with the dawn of 1970s consciousness," Sylvia said. "She becomes a more radical version of herself in her quest to belong. She's like, 'I'm just going to knock everything down and be a bull in a china shop to be accepted.'"Cast members Wiig, Laura Dern, Allison Janney, Leslie Bigg, Ricky Martin, Josh Lucas, Amber Chardae Robinson, Kaia Gerber, and Carol Burnett are all returning for season two, and Sylvia teases some big-name guest stars.He said season two guest stars are "going to make our fans throw their shoes at the television with excitement." He also teases "an aperitif, a dessert, a main course, and many cocktails with our guest stars."Sylvia also teased that the show's signature fashion will continue to make statements in season two."We have two episodes later in the season that will flip the style on its head, and that's all I'll say," he said. After the season two premiere, one episode will drop weekly on the streamer.
