"26 years after he became the first male Latin artist to win best pop video and won the most awards of the night at the show, Martin will once again take the stage to perform and accept his award," Thania Garcia wrote in a Variety exclusive.After that announcement, the superstar shared a picture in a since-expired Instagram story where he is seen alongside King. "@vmas GET READY!"That's right: Martin's 2025 VMAs performance is coming to life along with the creative director/choreographer behind Super Bowl Halftime Show performances from Diana Ross (1996), Madonna (2012), and Bruno Mars (2014); tours like Britney Spears's Circus Tour (2011), Rihanna's Loud Tour (2011), Jennifer Lopez's Dance Again World Tour (2012), and Madonna's The Celebration Tour (2023); and two Cirque du Soleil shows in tribute to Michael Jackson.
