I mean, thats the beauty of television, is people can take ownership, but theyre very much friends, Gough said. And its really a show exploring that female friendship.Millar agreed, saying the show is centered on "the idea of sisterhood and what that means."Its amazing that theyve been embraced in that way. I think its something thats very special, unique about that, he said. You have a show that is about, at its core, these two teenage girls who need each other and have found that connection.
