Grindr launches hub for uncensored gay content named 'Grindr Presents'
Grindr has launched a new hub named "Grindr Presents" which will exist inside the existing Grindr app to house the brand's full uncensored catalog of original videos, music drops, and editorial pieces.Sign up for the Out Newsletter to keep up with what's new in LGBTQ+ culture and entertainment delivered three times a week straight (well) to your inbox!Grindr's current slate of original content includes the Who's the A**hole? series hosted by RuPaul's Drag Race star Katya, behind-the-scenes videos with musicians like Troye Sivan on tour, editorial stories on gay culture, playlists, and more. In recent years, all of that content was always shared onto other platforms like YouTube, Instagram, and others. The newly-introduced Grindr Presents hub will be found inside the actual Grindr app, giving users in-app access to "raw, unfiltered access to content" made by the brand. This move not only intends to convince existing users to stay in the app beyond just exchanging flirty messages, but it also seems like an open invitation for even more people to download the app and use it. See on Instagram To locate this new hub, users must open the Grindr app, tap the side tray, and click on the Grindr Presents label to start exploring.Grindr shared the following statement in a press release:"In a world where queer voices are increasingly censored and marginalized across platforms, Grindr has created an unapologetically safe space where the community can be themselves, be heard, and be fabulous without fear of suppression. With 'Grindr Presents,' the platform is deepening that connection and making Grindr the go-to destination for even more uncensored queer culture, a place where authenticity isn't just welcomed, it's celebrated."
