Queens to judges: 32 'Drag Race' stars featured on the judging panel
These 'Drag Race' queens have gone from contestants to judges! It used to be unthinkable that former RuPaul's Drag Race contestants would return to the series to appear as a judge. However, that long-held belief slowly changed over the years as the franchise created by Mama Ru expanded into different spin-offs and international editions.Around 2023, numerous Drag Race queens were already featured as judges of different iterations of the show around the world. Some of them got to host, or cohost, entire seasons quite literally taking on RuPaul's front-and-center role in their respective countries. Otherwise, numerous Drag Race shows have featured returning queens as special guest judges in an episode, or even recurring judges for a particular season.More often than not, fans are ecstatic to see Drag Race queens appearing on the judging panel after they've been through this process and have further established their careers beyond the franchise. It's always lovely to see that these queens are booked, busy, and thriving and let's just say that being chosen to return to Mama Ru's queendom as a judge is a gig that every alum would love to book.Scroll through to see RuPaul's Drag Race queens who appeared as judges in this ever-expanding drag competition franchise conquering the world.Brooke Lynn Hytes ('Canada's Drag Race')After finishing as the runner-up of RuPaul's Drag Race season 11, Brooke Lynn Hytes was hand-selected to be a judge on Canada's Drag Race.
