WorldPride DC 2025: A global celebration of queer power & progress
Washington, D.C. is hosting one of the worlds largest LGBTQ+ celebrations as WorldPride 2025 marks 50 years of Pride in the nations capital. More than three million visitors are expected to take part, with programming designed to inspire, unite, and uplift the global LGBTQ+ communitywhile contributing an estimated $787 million in local economic impact. On June 7, Grammy, Emmy, and Tony winner Cynthia Erivo will headline the free WorldPride Concert. The celebration continues on June 8 with breakout star Doechii, alongside the Closing Ceremony and International March and Rally for Freedom. Expect multicultural performances, community celebrations, and a crowd filled with global energy.Cynthia is on June 7th and Doechii is on June 8. Madison, Courtney Act, and leaders from GLAAD, the Human Rights Campaign, and the LGBTQ+ Victory Fund. Topics will include global legislative battles, transgender rights, intersectionality, and grassroots advocacy.On June 7, Parade Grand Marshals Laverne Cox and Rene Rapp will lead one of the most anticipated Pride Parades of the year.
