Trump nominates lesbian Fox host who believes Dems are making human-animal chimera from Hell
Donald Trump has announced that hes naming out lesbian Fox News host Tammy Bruce to a State Department position, despite her years of extreme and bizarre statements on air. It is my great honor to announce that Tammy Bruce will be joining our incredible Nominee for United States Secretary of State, Marco Rubio, as Spokesperson for the U.S. Department of State, Trump posted on Truth Social. He said that Bruce is a highly respected political analyst and cited her background as a liberal activist in the 1990s, claiming that she saw the lies and fraud of the Radical Left, and quickly became one of the strongest Conservative voices on Radio and Television. Bruce has a history of making extreme statements on Fox News. In 2021, for example. she claimed that Democrats were funding research into human-animal hybrids as a banner declared, Mutants are coming! on screen. But the scientific community, spurred on by their own hubris, may very well open it, using American taxpayer dollars. And if that happens the Democrats will have blood on their hands for not joining the GOP and stopping it when they had a chance.Bruce is one of the only out LGBTQ+ personalities on Fox News, something she has used to attack other LGBTQ+ people in the past. For example, in 2023 she joined in the rightwing bashing of Pride in a Fox segment about a drag queen who participated in a marketing campaign for The North Face, the outdoor gear company. That year, conservatives freaked out over the Pride gear, LGBTQ+ advertising, and influencer partnerships of numerous corporations, including The North Face, Bud Light, and Target.Bruce said that most of the audience knows Im a gay woman but there has been a kind of push for something, for everyone to be a victim or for some kind of new dynamic, claiming that Pride campaigns really do damage to the gay and lesbian community and were embarrassing. And its not about homophobia, its about everything being politicized, she said. In 2021, Bruce raged at President Joe Biden for saying that men and women are equal.Alright, you noticed how he added women and men are created equal, not just men, Bruce said sternly. It matters, right? Thats not what the Founders wrote.Apparently, the sacred words of our Founders werent inclusive enough for Sleepy Joe, so he corrected them. That same year, she said that she wished she could give back the COVID-19 vaccine. I got the vaccine! she said. In certain ways, its like, If I could give it back! at this point, you know? While Bruce is a right-wing ideologue today, in the 1990s she was the president of the Los Angeles chapter of the National Organization for Women (NOW).According to theLA Times, she was a true believer who spent the first half of the 90s raising hell locally and nationally, organizing marches and standing up to local politicians as she developed a career in the media. Her first major conflict with other liberals started in 1995 when she helped lead protests against O.J. Simpson after he was acquitted of charges connected to the murder of his ex-wife Nicole Brown. The LA chapter of NOW eventually censured her and removed her from her leadership position after she faced criticism from Black feminists for making statements they said were racist while ignoring the racism involved in the Simpson case. Race issues are not at the very top of my list, Bruce said in a later interview about the conflict with NOW, admitting that she didnt think NOW should be worrying about Black men. What I worry about are women. Thats what makes me a feminist.Later in that decade, Bruce defended the hatefully anti-gay Dr. Laura Schlessinger and published a book entitledThe New Thought Police, rebranding herself as a staunch critic of the left.In 2003,she worked for the Republican Partyand was appearing on Fox News and on Laura Ingrahams far-right radio show. Completely free from any career-related need for approval from the left or anti-racist organizations, sheattacked President Barack Obama and his familywhen he was inaugurated in 2009, saying, Weve got trash in the White House.Subscribe to theLGBTQ Nation newsletterand be the first to know about the latest headlines shaping LGBTQ+ communities worldwide.
