Nancy Mace caught on video locking lips with another woman
Rep. Nancy Mace (R-SC) has been making headlines since the election results came in last month for her opposition to trans peoples rights. Now a video of her baby birding with another woman has surfaced online. The video shows Mace pouring a shot of alcohol in her mouth in a kitchen while music played before going to another woman who was wearing a TRUMP t-shirt and spitting it into her mouth. Related AOC eviscerates Nancy Mace for disgusting anti-trans crusade that will hurt all women & girls If a woman doesnt look woman enough to a Republican, they want to be able to inspect her genitals to use a bathroom? Its disgusting. The second woman then spit it into a mans mouth and, the Daily Mail reports, he spit it into a fourth persons mouth before he threw up on the floor. Lindsey Graham (R-SC) in the primary. A year after this video was shot, she would run successfully for the South Carolina House of Representatives.Mace didnt dispute the authenticity of the video when reached for comment. This is why good people dont run for office, she said. The Daily Mail reports that the video was seen on social media during Maces first run for the state house, when she ran against Democrat Cindy Boatwright, who called Mace immature and totally unfit for public office in response to the video. She is the worst sort of politician, an opportunist who is solely interested in her fame, Boatwright said recently as the video resurfaced online. She wants to be known as National Nancy. Mace has taken to calling transgender people slurs on social media lately as part of her crusade against trans women generally and specifically against Rep.-elect Sarah McBride (D-DE) the first trans person elected to Congress in history.Trans people have been visiting and working in Congress for years, but shortly after McBride won her election, Mace introduced a resolution banning trans people from using the appropriate restroom at the Capitol complex, which she said was a response to McBrides victory. She also introduced a bill banning trans people from using the facilities that correspond to their gender identities on all federal property.Speaker Mike Johnson (R-LA) instituted a trans bathroom ban for the Capitol, but that hasnt stopped Mace from taking every opportunity she can to attack trans people, including selling transphobic t-shirts, trying to sell transphobic wrapping paper, calling McBride it and a man, and writing hundreds of posts on social media attacking trans people, some of which include slurs. Mace has been using transphobia to build her political career since before she was elected to Congress. In her first campaign for Congress, she made up a law that she claimed required transgender equality in the military, said that her Democratic opponent was responsible for it, and said that it would result in a Marine Corps base in her district getting shut down. It was all a lie there was no such law and the Marine base is still in operation today but it helped her secure her seat in Congress. In her second run for Congress, she accused her opponent of providing SEX CHANGE SURGERY. PUBERTY BLOCKERS. GENDER CHANGING HORMONES. FOR CHILDREN? in an ad, even though her opponent was a doctor who worked at a hospital that didnt provide gender-affirming care for trans people at all. Her opponent was forced to resign from her job.Mace has a poor record on LGBTQ+ rights in Congress, getting scores of 15 and 14 out of 100 on HRCs Congressional Scorecard. She even voted against the Equality Act, which would ban discrimination against LGBTQ+ people at the federal level, and against reauthorizing the Violence Against Women Act because it would give some protections to transgender inmates.Subscribe to theLGBTQ Nation newsletterand be the first to know about the latest headlines shaping LGBTQ+ communities worldwide.
