Thousand of New Yorkers gathered over the weekend for the Protect Our Futures March to protest Donald Trumps hateful agenda. Protestors chanted in favor of LGBTQ+ inclusion, womens rights, and protections for immigrants values Rep. Marjorie Taylor Greene (R-GA) seems to define as anti-American. In addition to claiming the protestors were funded, presumably by the Democratic party, Greene also claimed their actions signified a hatred for the country. Yet Greene who continues to stand with a man who recently called America a garbage can thinks people fighting for inclusion and equality do not represent American values. The march occurred on Saturday in Columbus Circle outside the Trump International Hotel & Tower. Protestors carried signs that said, We wont back down and We will fight his hate. One group also carried a large trans flag.Chants included, Racist, sexist, anti-gay, Donald Trump go away!; as well as, No hate, no fear, immigrants are welcome here. Greene has been gloating across America since Donald Trump won the election, bragging that her extremist views are now considered mainstream and expressing joy over plans to pardon January 6 protestors and end the fight against climate change.
