Out Transportation Secretary Pete Buttigieg summarized the rally of former President Donald Trump held in New York City last Sunday with just two words. The rally has made headlines for its racist and sexist comments as well as Trumps lies about the current presidential administration.Before Trump spoke, comedian Tony Hinchcliffe called Puerto Rico a floating island of garbage, said Black people carve watermelons for Halloween, and suggested that Jews dont like spending money and thatLatinos love making babies and do not pull out. Trumps childhood friend David Rem called Harris the Antichrist and the devil, and businessman Grant Cardone insinuated that Harris is a sex worker, saying she has pimp handlers. Hinchcliffes comments led to condemnation by Republicans and Democrats and compelled several Puerto Rican musicians, including gay pop star Ricky Martin and LGBTQ+ ally Bad Bunny, to publicly endorse Trumps political opponent, Democratic presidential nominee Vice President Kamala Harris.
