We at LGBTQ Nation along with you, our readers have been following the election news for over a year, and now that were one week away, we thought itd be a good time to check in on how were all feeling.Its possible that some of us are feeling anxious since the results might not be what we want. But if were more confident about the way it will go, we could be feeling excitement for the future. Election cycles are always grueling and this one has been particularly aggressive to our community, especially transgender people so some of you might feel relief that it will soon be over, while others might feel the weight of sadness from the incessant attacks.Of course, there is the joy that has been building up, seeing people come together to work towards a better future for the country and the community.Its hard to stuff something as complicated as an emotional check-in into a short online poll format, so feel free to choose whichever feeling is dominating at the moment, even though it could change at any time.
