Is Queerlinq a Safe Space
Yes! Everyone deserves to be themselves—safely.
Queerlinq is here for anyone 15+ who identifies as LGBTQ+ or as an ally. We celebrate every gender, identity, race, age, ability, and lived experience. Our goal is simple: to create a respectful, inclusive community where everyone feels valued, affirmed, and safe.
Community Guidelines
To keep Queerlinq welcoming for all, we ask everyone to follow these simple guidelines. If you ever feel unsafe or notice harmful behavior, please reach out to a group administrator. Guidelines may evolve over time, and if you know of helpful local resources, we’d love for you to share them with us at support@queerlinq.com.
Privacy & Security
- We only track IP addresses for safety purposes, and share them with authorities only in emergencies or legal situations.
- Respect others’ privacy—never share someone’s identity, story, or contact information without their consent.
- Members must be at least 15 years old.
Introductions & Video
- Share only what feels comfortable—your first name and an avatar are more than enough.
- Video is always optional. You can turn it on just to say hi, then switch it off if you prefer.
Pronouns & Respect
- Ask for and use people’s pronouns respectfully. Mistakes happen—just apologize, correct yourself, and move forward with kindness.
- Avoid assumptions about someone’s identity or background.
- Remember that race, gender, age, ability, and class can shape perspectives—listen and make room for everyone.
- Center marginalized voices by uplifting and making space for quieter participants.
Behavior & Language
- No discrimination of any kind—racism, sexism, homophobia, transphobia, ableism, ageism, fatphobia, or religious/cultural intolerance won’t be tolerated.
- Zero tolerance for harassment or explicit content.
- Use clear, inclusive language. If you use acronyms or references, explain them so no one feels left out.
- Give content warnings when talking about sensitive topics like mental health, abuse, or trauma.
Social Media
Our community guidelines extend beyond Queerlinq to platforms like X (Twitter), Facebook, Instagram, and Snapchat. Be mindful of what you share and keep the spirit of safety and respect wherever you connect.
Final Note
We’re all here to build Queerlinq into a safe, supportive, and fun space. Thank you for helping us grow a community where everyone belongs.
